Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) - Stockport Primary School
Are you an experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant looking for a new and rewarding challenge in a supportive primary school environment?
Tradewind Recruitment are currently working with a vibrant and welcoming primary school in Stockport who are seeking a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join their team. This is a full-time, long-term role with an immediate or September start, depending on availability.
The Role:
As a HLTA, you will work flexibly across all year groups, delivering high-quality support and leading whole-class sessions where required. You will be expected to step in confidently to cover lessons in the absence of a teacher and support the learning and progress of pupils across EYFS, KS1, and KS2.
Requirements:
A recognised Level 4 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent)
Proven experience in leading a class and managing behaviour effectively
Confidence working across all primary age groups
A positive and proactive approach to supporting teaching and learning
