Part-Time Teaching Assistant - Supporting EYFS Child with Complex SEND
Location: SK5, Stockport
Working Hours: Part-Time
Start Date: ASAP
Contract Type: Long-term
Daily Rate: £85-£95 per day (pro rata, depending on experience)
Tradewind is working with a supportive primary school in the SK5 area of Stockport that is seeking a dedicated part-time Teaching Assistant to support a child in Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) with complex special educational needs.
This is a rewarding opportunity for an experienced and skilled Teaching Assistant who can offer tailored 1:1 support and has the confidence to deliver interventions and lead small group sessions.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide 1:1 support for a child in EYFS with complex SEND
Plan and deliver small group activities that encourage development and engagement
Work closely with class teachers and the SENDCo to implement personalised learning strategies
Support the child's social, emotional, and educational progress
About You:
You have previous experience supporting children with SEND in an EYFS setting
You're confident leading activities and delivering tailored interventions
You have a nurturing, patient, and proactive approach
A Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent) is highly desirable
