SANZA Teaching Agency are recruiting on behalf of some excellent special needs schools in Waltham Forest that are looking for a teaching assistant to join their team from September.
There are roles available in primary and secondary special needs settings.
ABOUT YOU
We are seeking a strong special needs teaching assistant who:
- Are proactive
- Demonstrate great relationship building skills
- Are able to encourage students to be as independent as possible
- Ability to remain calm and composed in challenging situations, displaying empathy and understanding
- Strong teamwork skills, allowing you to collaborate effectively with colleagues to achieve common goals
- Knowledge of behaviour management techniques and the ability to adapt them to meet individual needs
- Empathy, patience, and a genuine passion for supporting children with special educational needs
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and parents
