Teaching Assistant - Kettering
Location: Kettering
Start Date: September 2025
Full-Time | Long-Term or Permanent Position

We are currently working with a number of welcoming and forward-thinking schools in Kettering who are seeking dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistants to join their teams from September 2025.

This is a fantastic opportunity for those with experience in education or those eager to begin a rewarding career supporting students across Key Stages 3 and 4, including those with additional needs such as SEND, SEMH, or EAL.

About the Role:

  • Provide in-class support to students, helping them stay engaged, focused, and confident in their learning

  • Work one-to-one or in small groups with students who require additional support

  • Assist with lesson planning, classroom organisation, and resource preparation

  • Support students with emotional regulation, behaviour, and wellbeing

  • Help maintain a safe, structured, and inclusive learning environment

  • Monitor student progress and share insights with teaching and pastoral teams

We're Looking For:

  • A patient, empathetic, and motivated individual with a passion for helping young people

  • Experience working with children or young people (in education, care, sports, youth work, etc.)

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • An interest in or understanding of SEND, safeguarding, or behaviour management (training available)

  • A collaborative team player who is dependable and ready to make a real impact

  • A Level 2 or 3 TA qualification is an advantage but not essential
