Teaching Assistant - Kettering

We are currently working with a number of welcoming and forward-thinking schools in Kettering who are seeking dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistants to join their teams from September 2025.
This is a fantastic opportunity for those with experience in education or those eager to begin a rewarding career supporting students across Key Stages 3 and 4, including those with additional needs such as SEND, SEMH, or EAL.
About the Role:
Provide in-class support to students, helping them stay engaged, focused, and confident in their learning
Work one-to-one or in small groups with students who require additional support
Assist with lesson planning, classroom organisation, and resource preparation
Support students with emotional regulation, behaviour, and wellbeing
Help maintain a safe, structured, and inclusive learning environment
Monitor student progress and share insights with teaching and pastoral teams
We're Looking For:
A patient, empathetic, and motivated individual with a passion for helping young people
Experience working with children or young people (in education, care, sports, youth work, etc.)
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
An interest in or understanding of SEND, safeguarding, or behaviour management (training available)
A collaborative team player who is dependable and ready to make a real impact
A Level 2 or 3 TA qualification is an advantage but not essential
