Unqualified Science Teacher - Kettering
Location: Kettering
Start Date: September 2025
Contract: Full-Time - Long-Term, with potential for permanent employment
Salary: £100-£160 per day

We're working with several welcoming secondary schools in Kettering who are eager to recruit enthusiastic unqualified Science Teachers starting September 2025. These roles are perfect for science graduates, aspiring teachers, or those with relevant experience looking to break into teaching without formal QTS.

What the role involves:

  • Teaching engaging lessons across Biology, Chemistry, and/or Physics to KS3 and KS4 students

  • Collaborating with experienced staff to plan and deliver the science curriculum

  • Maintaining a positive classroom environment and managing behaviour effectively

  • Adapting lessons to support students with diverse needs and abilities

  • Assisting with marking, assessments, and monitoring pupil progress

  • Taking part in safeguarding and professional development training

Who we're looking for:

  • A degree in a science subject such as Biology, Chemistry, Physics, or similar

  • Experience working with young people or within education is a bonus but not essential

  • Confident, motivated, and passionate about delivering Science lessons

  • Organised, patient, and committed to helping students achieve their best

  • Open to receiving feedback and keen to develop through teacher training pathways like PGCE or apprenticeships

  • Willing to obtain or hold a valid Enhanced DBS certificate
