Religious Education Teacher - Ealing, London

Tradewind recruitment are working with a large secondary school based in Ealing and seeking a passionate and committed Religious Education Teacher to join the team.

This is a full-time maternity cover position running from September 2025 until July 2026.
Working hours are from 8:30am to 3:30pm.
Salary will reflect Inner London MPS/UPS.
The school also offers on-site parking and a welcoming, inclusive staff culture.

  • Deliver engaging and reflective RE lessons that explore major world religions, moral issues, and philosophical questions while encouraging students to think critically and respectfully.

  • Promote thoughtful discussion, cultural awareness, and values-based education that supports students' spiritual, moral, social and cultural development.

  • Contribute to a respectful, inclusive learning environment where students feel confident exploring diverse beliefs and perspectives.

Qualifications and Person Specification:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

  • Degree in Theology, Philosophy, Religious Studies or a related subject

  • Passionate about Religious Education with strong subject knowledge

  • Effective classroom practitioner who inspires and motivates students

  • A team player with excellent communication and organisational skills
