Economics Teacher - Ealing, London (Inner London Pay)

A high-achieving and well-respected secondary school in Ealing is seeking a committed and enthusiastic Economics Teacher to join their team from September 2025. This is a full-time role offered on a long-term or permanent basis. The position is open to both experienced teachers and newly qualified educators with a strong academic background.

  • Hours: 8:30am to 3:30pm

  • Subject: Economics (with potential to teach some Business Studies if required)

Economics Teacher - Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and rigorous lessons in Economics at Key Stage 4 and 5

  • Support students' academic progress and foster a deep understanding of economic theory, policy, and real-world applications

  • Contribute to a high-performing department that consistently achieves excellent A-Level results

  • Encourage critical thinking, analysis, and debate in a supportive classroom environment

  • Take part in the wider life of the school, contributing to its culture of academic ambition and mutual respect

Candidate Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

  • A degree in Economics or a closely related subject

  • Experience teaching Economics at A-Level is highly desirable

  • Strong subject knowledge and excellent communication skills

  • Passion for Economics and an ability to inspire young people
