About the Role:
As an English Teaching Assistant, you'll play a key role in supporting students across Key Stages 3 and 4. Working closely with teachers and the English department, you'll help boost attainment and confidence in English through a range of classroom and small-group support.
Key responsibilities include:
- Assisting in English lessons across a range of abilities
- Delivering targeted literacy support to individuals and small groups
- Supporting students with EAL or SEN needs
- Helping create engaging, inclusive lesson resources
- Encouraging students to develop their reading, writing, and analytical skills
- Monitoring progress and contributing to academic development
- Promoting a positive, focused learning environment
