Tradewind Recruitment is proud to be working with a highly regarded primary school in Oldham, currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Nursery Teaching Assistant to join their Early Years team. 🎓 The Role: Nursery Teaching Assistant

You will work alongside experienced class teachers to support the development and learning of children in the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting children through small group and 1:1 activities

  • Assisting in planning and delivering engaging learning experiences

  • Helping with daily routines and classroom organisation

  • Building strong relationships with children, parents, and staff

This is a long-term, full-time role, with the opportunity to go temp-to-perm for the right candidate.

✅ What We're Looking For

  • Experience: Previous experience supporting children in a primary or nursery setting, ideally within Early Years

  • Qualification: A Level 3 Teaching Assistant or Childcare qualification is desirable but not essential

  • Personal Qualities: A caring, proactive, and adaptable individual with a genuine passion for early years education
