The Role:
Tradewind Recruitment are currently recruiting for a dedicated and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to join a supportive Primary School in Ashton. This full-time role involves providing 1:1 support for pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN), alongside general classroom assistance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing 1:1 support to pupils with a range of SEN

  • Supporting the class teacher in delivering lessons and managing classroom behaviour

  • Assisting with the planning and delivery of tailored interventions and support plans

  • Working closely with the SENCO and parents to monitor progress

Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • Previous experience working with children with SEN (essential)

  • A degree or relevant qualification (preferred)

  • A proactive and patient approach to supporting children's learning and development

Requirements:

  • Hold an enhanced DBS on the Update Service or be willing to apply for one (cost refunded after 20 working days)

  • A full 10-year career history with a minimum of 2 professional references (one from your most recent role)

  • Legal right to work in the UK
