Are you a creative and inspiring Art and Design Teacher looking for your next opportunity in education? Tradewind Recruitment is working in partnership with a supportive secondary school in Derby to recruit a full-time Teacher of Art and Design from September 2025.
This is an exciting opportunity for both experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers (ECTs) who are passionate about nurturing creativity and developing students' artistic skills and confidence.
The Role:
You will be teaching Art and Design to students across Key Stages 3 and 4, delivering engaging, imaginative, and well-structured lessons. The ideal candidate will inspire a love of art, support technical skill development, and encourage individual expression through a range of artistic media.
What We're Looking For:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Specialism in Art and Design
A passion for creative education and student development
Excellent classroom management and planning skills
A flexible and proactive approach to teaching
An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
What You Can Expect:
A full-time teaching timetable from September to December 2025

Daily pay between £162.30 and £223.62, depending on experience
