Religious Education (RE) Teacher - Inner London Pay Scale
Full-Time or Part-Time - September Start - Long-Term Role Until July 2025

A thriving secondary school located in the Ealing area is seeking a passionate and dedicated Religious Education (RE) Teacher to join their team from September on a long-term contract until at least July 2025. This opportunity is open to both full-time and part-time applicants. Working hours are from 8:30am to 3:30pm. The position is paid in line with the Inner London MPS/UPS scale, and staff benefit from excellent facilities and on-site parking.

Religious Education Teacher - Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and thought-provoking RE lessons across KS3 and KS4

  • Encourage students to explore moral, ethical, and philosophical issues through critical thinking and respectful dialogue

  • Foster an inclusive classroom environment that celebrates diversity and promotes mutual respect

  • Contribute to the development of the RE curriculum and enrichment opportunities

  • Support students' spiritual, moral, and cultural development in line with the school's values

Qualifications and Person Specification:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

  • A degree in Theology, Religious Studies, Philosophy, or a related subject

  • Strong subject knowledge and the ability to inspire thoughtful discussion

  • Excellent communication and classroom management skills

  • A reflective and inclusive approach to teaching
