Religious Education (RE) Teacher - Inner London Pay Scale
Full-Time or Part-Time - September Start - Long-Term Role Until July 2025
A thriving secondary school located in the Ealing area is seeking a passionate and dedicated Religious Education (RE) Teacher to join their team from September on a long-term contract until at least July 2025. This opportunity is open to both full-time and part-time applicants. Working hours are from 8:30am to 3:30pm. The position is paid in line with the Inner London MPS/UPS scale, and staff benefit from excellent facilities and on-site parking.

Religious Education Teacher - Key Responsibilities:
Deliver engaging and thought-provoking RE lessons across KS3 and KS4
Encourage students to explore moral, ethical, and philosophical issues through critical thinking and respectful dialogue
Foster an inclusive classroom environment that celebrates diversity and promotes mutual respect
Contribute to the development of the RE curriculum and enrichment opportunities
Support students' spiritual, moral, and cultural development in line with the school's values
Qualifications and Person Specification:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
A degree in Theology, Religious Studies, Philosophy, or a related subject
Strong subject knowledge and the ability to inspire thoughtful discussion
Excellent communication and classroom management skills
A reflective and inclusive approach to teaching
