English Teacher - Inner London Pay Scale
Full-Time or Part-Time - September Start - Long-Term Role Until July 2025
An outstanding secondary school in the Ealing area is looking to appoint an enthusiastic and talented English Teacher to join their team from September on a long-term basis, with the contract running until at least July 2025. The school is open to both full-time and part-time applicants. Standard working hours are 8:30am to 3:30pm. This position is paid in line with the Inner London MPS/UPS scale, and on-site parking is available.

English Teacher - Key Responsibilities:
Deliver engaging and challenging English lessons across KS3 and KS4, with potential to teach KS5
Inspire students through a passion for literature, creative writing, and language analysis
Differentiate learning to support students of all abilities and backgrounds
Contribute to curriculum planning and enrichment opportunities within the English department
Promote a love of reading, discussion, and expression in a supportive classroom environment
Qualifications and Person Specification:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
A degree in English or a related subject
Strong subject knowledge and the ability to motivate and challenge students
Excellent classroom management and communication skills
A reflective, collaborative, and enthusiastic approach to teaching
