Geography Teacher
Full-Time or Part-Time - September Start - Long-Term Role Until July 2025

A highly regarded secondary school in the Hillingdon area is seeking a motivated and knowledgeable Geography Teacher to join their team from September on a long-term contract through to July 2025. The role is open to both full-time and part-time applicants. Working hours are from 8:30am to 3:30pm. The position will be paid in line with the Outer London MPS/UPS pay scale. On-site parking is available.

Geography Teacher - Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging Geography lessons across KS3 and KS4, with potential for KS5

  • Inspire students to explore the world around them through physical and human geography

  • Use a variety of teaching strategies to meet the needs of diverse learners

  • Contribute to the development of the Geography curriculum and extracurricular activities

  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes curiosity and critical thinking

Qualifications and Person Specification:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

  • A degree in Geography or a related field

  • Excellent subject knowledge and the ability to engage and motivate students

  • Strong classroom management and communication skills

  • A collaborative and forward-thinking approach to teaching
