English Teacher
September Start - Long-Term Role Until July 2025
A well-regarded secondary school in the Uxbridge (Hillingdon) area is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated English Teacher to join their team from September on a long-term contract until at least July 2025. The school welcomes both full-time and part-time applications. Working hours are 8:30am to 3:30pm. This role is paid on the Outer London MPS/UPS scale, and the school has ample on-site parking available.

English Teacher - Key Responsibilities:
Deliver high-quality English lessons across KS3 and KS4, with the ability to teach to GCSE level
Inspire students through a love of literature, language, and creative expression
Plan lessons that cater to a range of abilities, promoting engagement and academic success
Contribute to curriculum development and participate in whole-school initiatives
Build strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues to support progress and wellbeing
Qualifications and Person Specification:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
A degree in English or a related subject
Excellent subject knowledge and a passion for English
Strong classroom management and communication skills
A reflective and forward-thinking approach to teaching
