Full-Time School Caretaker - Multiple Roles Available Across Sheffield
We are currently recruiting for experienced Caretakers and Facilities Managers to work across a number of schools in the Sheffield area. These are full-time roles offering long-term opportunities and the chance to make a real difference in local school communities.
About the Role:
As a School Caretaker, you will be responsible for the day-to-day maintenance, security, and general upkeep of school buildings and grounds. You'll play a vital role in creating a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for staff, pupils, and visitors.
We are looking for candidates who:
Have previous experience as a school caretaker or facilities manager.
Are practical, proactive, and able to manage a wide range of duties including site security, minor repairs, and general maintenance.
Ideally have access to your own transport, as you may be working across different school sites.
Can work independently and respond quickly and effectively to site needs.
Are flexible and reliable, with a strong work ethic.
Requirements:
Must be able to be vetted in line with Keeping Children Safe in Education (KCSIE) guidelines.
A current Enhanced DBS on the Child Workforce Update Service is essential, or you must be willing to apply for one.
