Creative KS1 Teaching Assistant - Aspiring Teacher

Start Date: September 2025 (or ASAP)
Salary: £95 per day to start | rising to £117 per day after 12 weeks
Location: Westminster, Central London

The school is seeking a Creative KS1 Teaching Assistant to join their team from September 2025 (or earlier if available).

About the Role

  • Supporting teaching and learning in a vibrant Key Stage 1 class.

  • Working with pupils both 1:1 and in small groups to boost progress and confidence.

  • Helping to deliver creative, hands-on and play-based learning experiences.

  • Assisting with classroom preparation, displays, and engaging enrichment activities.

  • Full-time, long-term role with a clear route into teacher training or HLTA progression.

The Ideal Candidate

We're looking for someone who:

  • Has a passion for working with children and a long-term interest in becoming a teacher.

  • Brings energy, positivity and creativity to the classroom.

  • Is proactive, reliable and confident working with young learners.

  • May have previous experience working in a school, nursery, or youth setting (though not essential).

  • Is keen to learn, take direction, and contribute to a nurturing classroom environment.
