Salary: £95 per day
Hours: 8:15am - 4:15pm, Monday-Thursday, 3pm finish on Fridays

Are you a recent graduate eager to gain school-based experience before progressing into teacher training?

A two-form entry primary school in Ealing is looking to appoint a Classroom Assistant to support their Year 1 team from September 2025. This is an excellent opportunity to build classroom expertise while making a genuine impact on pupils' learning and development.

You will work alongside the class teacher to provide learning support, deliver small-group activities, and contribute to the smooth transition of children from Early Years into Key Stage 1.

The role includes:

Term-time only, full-time position
Supporting Year 1 pupils in class, in small groups, and occasionally 1:1
£95 per day pay rate
Ideal preparation for PGCE, School Direct, or similar teacher training pathways

The successful candidate will:

Be proactive, enthusiastic, and committed to education
Enjoy working with young children and helping them thrive
Demonstrate good communication and organisational skills
Work well in a team but also show initiative
Have prior experience of working with children (through volunteering, tutoring, school placements, etc.)
