SEN Teacher - Ealing (ARP & Year 6 Cover)

⏰ Contract: Full-time, Academic Year | Hours: 8:15am - 4:00pm
💷 Pay: £180 - £250 per day (dependent on experience)

Tradewind Recruitment are working with a welcoming 3-form entry primary school in Ealing, with excellent transport links via the Central and Piccadilly lines, who are seeking a dedicated SEN Teacher to join their team full-time from September 2025.

This role will involve teaching a small class within the school's Additional Resource Provision (ARP), supporting children with a range of special educational needs, while also providing mainstream Year 6 class cover on a part-time basis.

The Role

As the ARP SEN Teacher, you will:

  • Deliver engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to pupils' individual EHCPs

  • Create a nurturing, structured environment that supports learning and development

  • Work closely with teaching assistants, therapists, and the SENCO to provide holistic support

  • Monitor progress and adapt teaching strategies to meet pupils' needs

  • Cover Year 6 classes when required, ensuring continuity of learning

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for someone who:

  • Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - essential

  • Has experience teaching pupils with SEN, ideally in an ARP, resource base or special school setting

  • Brings patience, creativity, and a proactive approach to supporting diverse learning needs

  • Is confident in KS2 teaching, particularly with Year 6 curriculum content

  • Is committed to inclusive education and ensuring every child thrives
