Primary Teacher (Years 3-6) - SEN Specialist (Autism Focus)
Location: Radlett, Hertfordshire
Start Date: September 2025
A fantastic opportunity has opened for an enthusiastic and skilled Primary Teacher to join a highly supportive SEN school in Radlett, Hertfordshire. This well-resourced and nurturing setting is dedicated to supporting children with additional needs, with a strong emphasis on Autism. Staff are provided with excellent professional support, ensuring both pupils and teachers can flourish.
This position begins in September 2025, initially on a temporary basis, with a strong likelihood of becoming permanent after the first term.

Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Previous experience in Primary, EYFS, or SEN settings
- Strong knowledge of Autism and effective strategies to support pupils with additional needs
- Skilled in classroom and behaviour management
- Passionate about delivering engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to each child
- A reflective, resilient, and collaborative practitioner
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach small groups of pupils in Years 3-6, adapting lessons to meet a range of learning needs
- Create a safe, inclusive, and engaging classroom for pupils with Autism
- Work closely with Teaching Assistants to deliver consistent, high-quality support
- Monitor and track progress, setting achievable, individualised goals
- Contribute to the wider life of the school and help shape specialist SEN provision in Radlett
