SEN Teacher - Penzance
Full-time | Permanent or Long-term

Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of young people with additional needs? Tradewind Recruitment is working closely with a specialist SEN school in Penzance, and we're looking for an enthusiastic, committed SEN Teacher to join their supportive team.

This role would suit someone who thrives on helping pupils achieve their potential - not just academically, but emotionally and socially too. You'll be working with small class sizes and have the support of experienced Teaching Assistants and SEN specialists to help you deliver engaging, tailored lessons.


What you'll be doing:

  • Planning and delivering creative lessons that meet the needs of pupils with SEN

  • Working closely with support staff to provide 1:1 and small group interventions

  • Using a range of strategies to manage behaviour positively and encourage progress

  • Building strong relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues

  • Creating a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment


What we're looking for:

  • A qualified teacher (QTS or equivalent) - SEN experience is highly desirable

  • Someone who is patient, understanding, and adaptable

  • A teacher who can think creatively and bring learning to life

  • A team player who enjoys working collaboratively

  • Passion for helping every child reach their full potential
