We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join a specialist academy in the Lincolnshire area, starting September 2025. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to a supportive and inclusive environment where every student's learning is a celebrated journey of growth and achievement.
The academy provides a specialised education for students aged 11 to 19 with a diverse range of learning difficulties, including autism, dyslexia, Asperger's syndrome, and moderate, severe, and complex learning difficulties. We are seeking individuals who are committed to nurturing the potential of every student and helping them break barriers to reach their fullest potential.
The Role and Our Values
You will be an integral part of a passionate and experienced team, providing vital 1:1 or small group support. Your work will be guided by the school's core values. You will help create a stimulating, bespoke learning environment and contribute to a culture of respect, understanding, and high aspirations for all learners.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide tailored support to students with diverse and complex learning needs.
Assist in delivering a rich and stimulating curriculum, designed to help students thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.
Encourage the development of key life skills and independence.
Collaborate with staff and families to create meaningful connections and a supportive community.
Candidate Requirements
Experience working with children or young people in any setting is beneficial.
A calm, patient, and proactive approach to support.
A genuine interest in working with pupils with additional needs.
A DBS on the Update Service, or a willingness to apply for one.
Relevant training or qualifications are a bonus but not essential.
