Computer Science Teacher (Maternity Cover)

Start Date: September 2025
Location: L15 - Grammar School, Ofsted Rated 'Good'
Contract: Full-time, Maternity Cover
Salary: MPS/UPS (dependent on experience)
Duration: Fixed term for the duration of maternity leave

Tradewind Recruitment are working on behalf of an Ofsted Rated 'Good' grammar school in the L15 area. We are seeking a dedicated and innovative Computer Science Teacher to cover a maternity leave beginning in September 2025. This role will suit a dynamic and enthusiastic teacher who can inspire pupils across Key Stages 3-5, maintaining high academic standards and fostering a love of computing.

Key Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in Computer Science (or a related subject with relevant teaching experience)

  • Experience teaching Computer Science across Key Stages 3-4 (KS5 experience strongly desirable)

  • Strong classroom management and organisational skills

  • Ability to deliver engaging, challenging lessons that promote progress and achievement
