Early Years (EYFS) Learning Support Practitioner - Pastoral Support Focus (Thrive Approach)
Location: Watford, Hertfordshire
Start Date: 8th September 2025 - Immediate Start!
Contract Type: Fixed Term (until July 2026 in the first instance)
Hours: 27.5 hours per week - Monday to Friday, 9:15am to 3:15pm (30-minute unpaid lunch break)
Salary: £90 per day

A vibrant and inclusive primary school in Watford is urgently seeking a Learning Support Practitioner (LSP) to work with Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) pupils, with a strong focus on pastoral care using the Thrive Approach.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day learning and emotional support to EYFS pupils
  • Deliver 1:1 and small-group interventions using the Thrive framework
  • Maintain a safe, engaging, and inclusive classroom environment
  • Collaborate with teachers and support staff to meet individual pupil needs

Person Specification

  • Experience in EYFS or Key Stage 1 highly desirable
  • Passion for children's emotional and social development
  • Knowledge of /willingness to train in the Thrive approach
  • Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills
