We're working with a variety of supportive mainstream and specialist schools across Luton, all looking for a dedicated, nurturing Primary Teaching Assistant to join their teams and make a real difference.
Experience working with children would be beneficial but our schools are looking for people with a real passion and enthusiasm for education.
Your role as a Primary Teaching Assistant is pivotal to the overall success of the school and children's progress. For the strongest educators, these roles often lead to permanent recruitment.
About the Role:
Supporting pupils with a range of needs, including autism, ADHD, speech and language difficulties, and SEMH
Providing 1:1 and small group support in the classroom
Helping children feel safe, included, and ready to learn
Working closely with teachers, SENDCos and external professionals to support progress
What We're Looking For:
A calm, patient and caring approach
Experience with SEN is great - but not essential
A genuine interest in education and helping young people thrive
A DBS on the update service, or willingness to apply for one
