Outreach Worker - Great Missenden, Buckinghamshire

A new and exciting opportunity has arisen for an Outreach Worker to join a secondary school in Great Missenden, Buckinghamshire. This role is designed to strengthen family engagement and improve student outcomes, playing a vital part within the pastoral team and ensuring there is a trusted and structured bridge between school and home life.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Building relationships with families to support students struggling with attendance, engagement & wellbeing.
  • Liaising with pastoral, academic, SEND, and safeguarding teams to deliver tailored support plans.
  • Helping families understand school processes and how to best support their child.

Who we're looking for:

  • Someone with excellent inter-personal and communication skills.
  • The ability to work with sensitivity, empathy, and patience.
  • Prior experience working with young people is helpful but not essential - training will be provided.
  • A genuine passion for supporting young people and families.
