SEN Teaching Assistant - 1:1 Support
Location: Ealing, West London
Start Date: September 2025
Salary: £95 per day
Contract Type: Full-Time, Fixed-Term (Academic Year)
Hours: 8:15am - 4:15pm, Monday to Friday (3.00pm finish on Friday, Term Time Only)
Are you an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant looking for a rewarding role in a welcoming primary school in Ealing? SANZA Teaching Agency is seeking a committed professional to provide 1:1 support for a Key Stage 1 pupil with Autism, starting immediately.
This role offers the opportunity to make a real difference to a child's development within a supportive school environment.
About the Role
The child is non-verbal and experiences sensory processing difficulties. They benefit from a calm, structured learning environment, regular movement breaks, and consistent time-out strategies. With the right support, the pupil has already shown encouraging progress, and the school is keen to find a dedicated TA to continue this journey.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver structured, consistent 1:1 support across the school day
Support communication, transitions, regulation strategies and daily routines
Implement personalised targets set by the SENCO and external professionals
Adapt learning activities in collaboration with the class teacher and inclusion team
Create a nurturing environment that encourages engagement and independence
Provide clear, regular feedback to staff and parents on progress and behaviour
Candidate Requirements
We are looking for an SEN Teaching Assistant who has:
Proven experience supporting children with Autism (ASC) or other special educational needs
A calm, patient and reliable approach to behaviour management
Strong communication skills and a collaborative attitude
The ability to remain proactive, consistent and flexible throughout the day
A solid understanding of inclusive education and safeguarding practices
