Job Description

A welcoming and inclusive primary school in the heart of Clayton, East Manchester, is seeking a committed and enthusiastic Early Years teacher to join their team. This EYFS role will begin in November and will be for 1 full calendar year. The school prides itself on its strong sense of community, supportive staff culture, and high aspirations for every child. The Role

The school is looking to appoint an Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) teacher to cover a maternity leave from the start of November for one full academic year. This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate and dedicated teacher to make a meaningful impact during a crucial stage in children's development.

The successful candidate will:

  • Plan and deliver engaging, play-based learning experiences in line with the EYFS curriculum
  • Foster a warm, nurturing and stimulating environment that encourages curiosity, independence and a love of learning
  • Monitor, assess and record children's progress effectively, using observations and formative assessment to inform future planning
  • Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, parents, carers and external agencies to support children's learning and well-being
  • Contribute to the wider life of the school and uphold its values and ethos

To join us and be successful in this role you will need to:

  • Hold a relevant Teaching qualification
  • Relevant EYFS Experience
  • Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
  • CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible
  • Legal right to work in the UK
