Location: Peterborough
Contract: Part-Time or Full-Time
Salary: M1 - M6 (Paid to scale from day one)
Start Date: ASAP or negotiable
Are you a dedicated Primary Teacher with a passion for early years learning? We are working in partnership with a welcoming and supportive primary school in Peterborough, currently looking to appoint a Year 1 Primary Teacher on a part-time or full-time basis.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled Primary Teacher to join a vibrant school community where staff are valued, supported, and encouraged to develop professionally.
About the Role:
- Teaching a Year 1 class within a well-resourced and inclusive school
- Planning and delivering creative, engaging lessons aligned with the KS1 curriculum
- Using phonics schemes such as Read Write Inc. or Letters and Sounds
- Collaborating with teaching assistants and colleagues to support pupil progress
What We're Looking For:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience in KS1, ideally within Year 1
- Strong understanding of early phonics and literacy development
- A nurturing, flexible and committed approach to teaching
- Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
