History and RS Teacher - Long-Term Role (Tuesdays & Thursdays)

Contract: Part-time, Long-term
Days: Tuesday & Thursday

Are you a passionate and dedicated History and RS Teacher looking for a rewarding long-term opportunity? We are seeking an enthusiastic teacher to join a highly regarded and popular secondary school on a part-time basis, teaching across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.

This is an excellent opportunity for a committed professional who can inspire students and deliver engaging lessons in both History and Religious Studies.

The Role

As a History and RS Teacher, you will be responsible for:

  • Planning, preparing and delivering high-quality lessons in History and Religious Studies.

  • Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment that challenges and supports pupils.

  • Assessing, recording and reporting on the development and progress of students.

  • Managing classroom behaviour effectively to ensure a focused learning environment.

  • Contributing to the wider school community, including attending meetings and supporting school initiatives.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.

  • Strong subject knowledge in both History and Religious Studies.

  • Experience teaching in UK secondary schools, ideally across KS3 and KS4.

  • Excellent classroom management and communication skills.

  • A genuine passion for education and the ability to motivate and inspire young people.
