SEN Teaching Assistant - Full-Time, Long-Term - Bromley - Immediate Start

Tradewind Recruitment is seeking a committed and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming mainstream secondary school in Bromley. This is a full-time, long-term position starting immediately, offering a fantastic opportunity to support students with special educational needs in a supportive and dynamic environment.

As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teaching and pastoral staff to provide targeted one-to-one and small group support for students with a range of needs, including Autism, ADHD, SEMH and behavioural challenges. You will help students access the curriculum, manage their emotions, and develop their confidence and independence.

To be considered, you must have:

  • Experience supporting children or young people (school-based or similar)

  • A good understanding of, or experience with, supporting students with SEND

  • An Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills

  • A calm, proactive and empathetic approach to learning support
