Behaviour Mentor - Secondary School - Lewisham

Full-Time | Long-Term | Immediate Start | Competitive Pay (PAYE)

Tradewind Recruitment is working with a supportive mainstream secondary school in Lewisham who are seeking a dedicated Behaviour Mentor to join their team. This full-time, long-term role is to start immediately and will continue until the end of the academic year, providing vital support to students who require additional behavioural and emotional guidance.

The Role

  • Support students on a 1:1 and small-group basis to help them stay engaged in lessons

  • Promote positive behaviour and help students manage challenges effectively

  • Work closely with teachers, pastoral staff and parents to improve student outcomes

  • Contribute to a safe, supportive and inclusive school environment

Requirements

  • Experience supporting children or young people (school, youth work or similar)

  • Calm, confident approach with excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • A valid Enhanced DBS on the Update Service

  • Availability to work full-time until July
