Teacher of English - Gerrards Cross, Buckinghamshire

About the Role:
As a Teacher of English, you will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons across KS3 - KS4, with the potential to lead classes at KS5. A love of literature, writing, and language skills is key to the role, to inspire and aid students in achieving academically, with creativity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach English Language and Literature to KS3 and KS4 students
  • Develop creative, engaging, and creative lessons
  • Assess and monitor student progress
  • Create an inclusive and supportive learning environment
  • Contribute to the development of the English department

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent (preferred)
  • Relevant Degree to English/Teaching (preferred)
  • Experience teaching English at KS3 and KS4 (essential)
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • Based in, or reliably commutable to Gerrards Cross, Buckinghamshire
  • Enhanced DBS Checked, Safeguarding Trained (or willing to apply/complete)
