Teacher of History - Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire:

As a Teacher of History, you will deliver engaging lessons to students from KS3 - KS5, ensuring development and honing their analytic skills. The role involves full teaching and classroom management including planning, marking and the delivery and structuring of extra-curricular activities that complement the curriculum.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Teach History to students across KS3, KS4, and KS5
  • Plan and deliver engaging and innovative lessons
  • Assess and track student progress, providing constructive feedback
  • Contribute to the development of the History department and wider School Community
  • Support students with additional needs and tailor lessons to suit diverse and adaptive learning styles

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent qualification
  • Experience teaching History at KS3 and KS4 (KS5 teaching experience is desirable)
  • Strong classroom management and organisational skills
  • A passion for history and student development
  • Commutable to Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire
