Teaching Assistant - Secondary School, Salford

Tradewind Recruitment are seeking an enthusiastic and committed Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming Secondary School in Salford. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced education professional who is passionate about supporting young people in their academic and personal development.
The successful candidate will work closely with teaching staff to provide targeted support to students, both in small groups and on a one-to-one basis. You will play an important role in helping to raise attainment, build confidence, and ensure that every child is able to access the curriculum fully.
Key Responsibilities:
Supporting pupils across a range of subjects within the classroom.
Assisting teachers with the preparation of resources and activities.
Providing 1:1 and small group interventions where required.
Promoting positive behaviour and creating an inclusive learning environment.
Supporting pupils with additional needs, including SEND.
Essential Requirements:
Previous experience working within a school or educational setting - applicants without this experience will not be considered.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build positive relationships with staff and students.
A proactive, reliable, and supportive approach to working with young people.
Desirable Qualifications:
NCFE, CACHE or NVQ in Supporting Teaching and Learning (or equivalent).
This role is to begin immediately and offers a pay rate of £90-£100 per day (depending on experience).
