Behaviour Support Mentor - Secondary School, Salford
Pay: £90 - £100 per day
Start Date: ASAP

Tradewind Recruitment are working in partnership with a thriving secondary school in Salford to recruit a dedicated Behaviour Support Mentor. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of young people by supporting positive behaviour and engagement across the school.

The Role:
As a Behaviour Support Mentor, you will:

  • Work closely with teachers, pastoral teams, and SEND staff to provide targeted support for pupils who display challenging behaviour.

  • Build strong relationships with students to help improve engagement, attendance, and achievement.

  • Deliver one-to-one and small group interventions focusing on emotional regulation, resilience, and social skills.

  • Promote a safe, supportive, and inclusive learning environment in line with the school's ethos and behaviour policy.

What We're Looking For:
To be considered for this role, you must have previous experience working in schools or within an educational setting. We are unable to accept applications from those without direct school-based experience. The ideal candidate will:

  • Have a strong understanding of behaviour management strategies.

  • Be resilient, patient, and able to remain calm under pressure.

  • Demonstrate excellent communication skills with both pupils and staff.

  • Be committed to supporting young people to achieve their full potential.
