Behaviour Support Mentor - Secondary School, Salford
Pay: £90 - £100 per day
Start Date: ASAP
Tradewind Recruitment are working in partnership with a thriving secondary school in Salford to recruit a dedicated Behaviour Support Mentor. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of young people by supporting positive behaviour and engagement across the school.
The Role:
As a Behaviour Support Mentor, you will:
Work closely with teachers, pastoral teams, and SEND staff to provide targeted support for pupils who display challenging behaviour.
Build strong relationships with students to help improve engagement, attendance, and achievement.
Deliver one-to-one and small group interventions focusing on emotional regulation, resilience, and social skills.
Promote a safe, supportive, and inclusive learning environment in line with the school's ethos and behaviour policy.
What We're Looking For:
To be considered for this role, you must have previous experience working in schools or within an educational setting. We are unable to accept applications from those without direct school-based experience. The ideal candidate will:
Have a strong understanding of behaviour management strategies.
Be resilient, patient, and able to remain calm under pressure.
Demonstrate excellent communication skills with both pupils and staff.
Be committed to supporting young people to achieve their full potential.
