Culinary Arts Lecturer

The Role:
You will be delivering engaging, hands-on sessions in professional kitchens, covering topics such as classical cookery, contemporary cuisine, food hygiene, menu planning, and food presentation. Students range from beginners to Level 3 learners aspiring to enter the hospitality industry.
What You'll Do:
Deliver practical and theoretical lessons in culinary arts
Support learners' progress through constructive feedback and assessments
Prepare students for real-world kitchen environments
Ensure safe and efficient kitchen operations
Contribute to curriculum innovation and quality standards
Ideal Candidate:
Background as a professional chef or culinary trainer
Teaching experience in FE or training settings (preferred)
Relevant teaching qualification or willingness to work toward one
Strong communication and mentoring skills
Up-to-date knowledge of food trends, health & safety, and catering industry standards
