SANZA Teaching Agency is delighted to be working with a forward-thinking and nurturing independent secondary school in Barnet, who are seeking a dedicated Learning Support Assistant to join their team from September 2025.

This role will involve supporting two Year 7 pupils with Dyslexia and ADHD, helping them to thrive academically and socially during their transition into secondary school.

✨ The Role at a Glance:

Provide 1:2 support across lessons, helping pupils remain focused and engaged: Particularly in Literacy and Numeracy.

Support with task initiation, concentration, and completion of work.

Encourage independence while offering reassurance and structure where needed.

Work alongside class teachers and the SENCO to implement and refine support strategies.

Monitor and share progress to inform future learning plans.

✅ About You:

Ideally, you'll have experience supporting pupils with Dyslexia and ADHD (in secondary or upper KS2 preferred).

Creative person who is able to build a strong bond with both pupils

Strong understanding of strategies to support focus, organisation, and learning.

Calm, patient, and empathetic approach to building positive relationships.
