We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Food Technician to join our vibrant secondary school in Newham. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in supporting our Food Technology department and helping students thrive in practical learning.
Key Responsibilities:
Preparing ingredients, equipment and resources for Food Technology lessons.
Maintaining high standards of hygiene and safety in the food rooms.
Assisting teachers and supporting students during practical sessions.
Managing stock, ordering supplies and ensuring equipment is in good working order.
Contributing to a positive, engaging and creative learning environment.
What We're Looking For:
A reliable, well-organised individual with excellent attention to detail.
Knowledge of food hygiene and health & safety procedures (training can be provided).
A team player who is proactive and enjoys working with young people.
Previous experience in a similar role or a background in catering/food preparation would be an advantage.
