LKS2 Teacher - Welcoming Primary School in Dagenham!

Key Details:

Start: ASAP (academic year and full-time)
Salary: £150 - £160 a day
Suitable for: ECTs and Experienced Teachers
Location: Dagenham - easily accessible by car (on-site parking) and public transport (District Line and local bus routes)

Tradewind Recruitment are working closely with a welcoming two-form entry Primary School in Dagenham that is committed to inclusion and has a strong community feel. They are seeking a KS2 Teacher to join their team as soon as possible.

The ideal KS2 Teacher will:

Secure knowledge of the KS2 curriculum, particularly in core subjects.
Understanding of effective strategies for supporting transition between KS1 and KS2.
Familiarity with formative and summative assessment strategies.
Knowledge of strategies to challenge more able pupils as well as support those with additional needs.
Awareness of safeguarding and child protection procedures beyond statutory requirements.

Essential Compliance Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Right to work in the UK.
Enhanced DBS disclosure on the update service (or willingness to obtain one).
Proof of professional qualifications.
Satisfactory references covering the last 2 years.
