Level 2 Teaching Assistant

Hours: 25 hours per week
Required for: ASAP
Contract: Temp to perm
Salary: £90-95 per day, Level 2 TA - Grade 3 - Scale point 5 to 7, approximate pro rata salary:
£17,626 to £18,136 (£28,521 to £29,346 full time equivalent)

Are you passionate about supporting children's learning and development? Tradewind are supporting a local Primary School in Croydon seeking a Teaching Assistant to join their staff.

The role will be to work in class supporting the learning in all areas of the curriculum and supervising the children
at lunchtimes. These posts require individuals with a love of working with children and a commitment to the school's vision of striving for excellence.

These roles are ideal for individuals eager to build experience in education, whether you're a recent graduate, exploring a career in teaching, or already have classroom experience.

Essential skills and abilities:
* NVQ or CACHE level 2 or equivalent qualifications or experience
* Experience of working with children with SEND
* Excellent ICT skills
* Good understanding of child development and learning
* Excellent communication skills

Key Responsibilities:

Support teachers in delivering lessons and classroom activities
Provide individual or small group assistance, particularly to pupils with additional needs
Help prepare materials and create a positive learning environment
Work closely with school staff to support pupil progress and wellbeing
