About the role - Learning Mentor - Rushden, Northamptonshire
The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting the social, emotional, and academic development of pupils across the school. You will:
Deliver targeted interventions to individuals and small groups
Provide pastoral support to pupils with a range of needs
Liaise regularly with the Inclusion Lead and SENDCo to ensure consistent and effective support
Work collaboratively with teaching staff to identify and address barriers to learning
Monitor and record pupil progress and provide feedback to relevant stakeholders
About you - Learning Mentor - Rushden, Northamptonshire
Previous experience in a pastoral or learning mentor role within a primary setting
A sound understanding of safeguarding and child development
Experience working in the classroom alongside teaching staff
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
A calm, patient, and empathetic approach
