SEN Teaching Assistant - Full-Time - Ealing - Start ASAP to July 2026

A friendly two-form entry primary school in Ealing is looking for a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team. The school supports a diverse community of pupils and is rated Good by Ofsted for its inclusive approach and strong pastoral care. Classrooms are well-equipped, and there are dedicated areas for small-group interventions and support. The Role

  • Full-time SEN Teaching Assistant (supporting pupils with additional learning needs) from ASAP until July 2026

  • Work with individual pupils or small groups to support their learning and progress

  • Deliver targeted interventions under the guidance of class teachers and SENCo

  • Monitor and assess pupil progress and maintain accurate records

  • Assist with classroom management and inclusion strategies to enable pupils to access the full curriculum

  • Support communication between teachers, pupils, and parents where needed

Requirements

  • Experience working with pupils with special educational needs (SEN) in a primary school setting - minimum of 1 year.

  • Ability to deliver interventions and adapt learning materials for different abilities

  • Strong communication and organisational skills

  • Enthusiasm for supporting pupils' academic, social, and emotional development

  • Open to ECTs or experienced teaching assistants
