Criminology and Sociology Teacher
Tradewind Recruitment are recruiting for a part time Criminology and Sociology Teacher based in Hull, starting November 2nd and lasting until at least December 25th in the first instance. This is a temporary position to cover a period of absence, so the exact length of absence is difficult to determine. Payment for this position will be scaled to the main teaching pay scale, between £31,650 and £49084. This scales to a daily rate of £162.31 to £251.71. This is a part time position, 0.8 timetable over 5 days. This would be two days per week, which is yet to be determined.
This role will involve teaching Criminology and Sociology to A Level students, and there is no Key Stage 3 or 4 teaching on this timetable, suiting an A Level or Post 16 specialist. The ability to teach or cover BTEC Applied Law would be advantageous for this position but not essential.
Located in Hull, this school is easily accessible from different parts of Hull via Bus, and has a large onsite car park for candidates who drive. The school is part of a small, local academy chain that has a large amount of resources available on file, meaning that the amount of planning needed for this role will be extremely minimal.

- Has experience teaching Criminology and Sociology to Key Stage 5 students
