Secondary Qualified Teachers - Swindon, Wiltshire
We are seeking enthusiastic and committed qualified secondary teachers with QTS to work in schools across Swindon. These roles involve providing long-term cover for absent teachers, ensuring continuity of high-quality teaching and learning. Positions are available to start immediately, with both full-time and part-time opportunities.
The Role
As a Secondary Teacher, you will:
* Deliver engaging lessons across your subject specialism or a range of subjects as required
* Plan, prepare, and assess work in line with curriculum expectations
* Manage classroom behaviour effectively in accordance with school policies
* Support the academic progress, wellbeing, and development of all pupils
* Contribute to the wider school community where required
Working Hours & Pay
* Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 3:30pm
* Competitive daily rates from £150 - £300 per day, depending on experience and role responsibilities
* Opportunities for long-term placements within supportive schools
Requirements
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or QTLS preferred
* Experience teaching at secondary level (KS3/KS4, KS5 desirable)
* Strong classroom management and communication skills
* A professional, adaptable, and positive approach
