Salary: £25,583 - £25,989
Hours: 25 per week
Contract: Fixed Term (linked to pupil funding, until 31/08/2026)
Location: Huyton, Liverpool

The Role
Tradewind Recruitment are working with a primary setting in Huyton who are seeking a Teaching Assistant Level 2 (SEND) to support children with a range of additional needs. You will play a key role in helping pupils access learning, build confidence, and develop essential skills in a nurturing environment.
About You
We are looking for someone who has:
- A Level 2 qualification in Supporting Teaching & Learning in Schools (or equivalent)
- GCSE English and Maths (Grade 4/C or above) or equivalent
- Experience of working with children in a primary school, including those with SEND
- Knowledge of strategies and interventions to support a range of needs (e.g. autism, ADHD, dyslexia, speech & language difficulties)
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work positively with children, colleagues, parents, and external professionals
- A proactive, flexible, and resilient approach with a commitment to inclusion
- A proven record of excellent attendance and reliability
