SEN Teaching Assistant Level 2 (Temporary - Linked to EHCP)
Employer: Tradewind Recruitment (on behalf of a primary school in Kirkby)
Salary: £25,583 - £25,989 pro rata per annum
Additional: SEN Allowance of £1,539 pro rata (where applicable)
Actual Salary: £16,708 - £16,973 per annum + £1,021 SEN allowance
Hours: 27 per week / Term Time Only (46 weeks)
Contract: Long Term - linked to EHCP funding (until reviewed)
Start Date: As soon as possible
DBS Check: Enhanced
Closing Date: 12pm, Friday 24th October 2025
The Role
Tradewind Recruitment are recruiting a Level 2 SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils with additional needs at a welcoming Catholic primary setting in Kirkby.
This is a temporary post, funded through an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP), working 27 hours per week during term time. The successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring children with ASC, ADHD, and other special educational needs are supported both academically and emotionally, so they can fully access the curriculum and thrive in their learning journey.
