Teaching Assistant - 1:1 SEN Support (Huntingdon)
Location: Huntingdon
Salary: £90 - £100 per day
Start Date: Immediate
Full-time | Term Time Only
We're currently recruiting for a Teaching Assistant to join a primary school in Huntingdon, supporting a child with Special Educational Needs (SEN) on a 1:1 basis. This role offers an immediate start and a rewarding day-to-day experience.
What You'll Do:
- Work 1:1 with a pupil who requires extra support
- Adapt lesson materials to meet individual learning needs
- Build a strong, positive relationship with the child
- Support classroom routines and behaviour strategies
- Collaborate with teaching staff and external professionals
What We're Looking For:
- Previous experience with children (especially SEN)
- Calm, patient, and nurturing personality
- Confidence to support behaviour and learning needs
- DBS on the Update Service or willing to obtain one
