Cover Teaching Assistant - West Cornwall

Location: West Cornwall (including Penzance, Helston, Hayle, Camborne, Redruth, St Ives)
Contract: Flexible / Day-to-Day / Short-Term Cover
Pay: £89-£99 per day

Tradewind Recruitment is working with schools across West Cornwall who are seeking flexible and reliable Cover Teaching Assistants. This is a brilliant opportunity to support pupils in a variety of classroom settings while enjoying the flexibility to work around your lifestyle.

The role will involve:

• Providing general classroom support across primary, secondary, and SEN schools

• Assisting teachers with learning activities, behaviour management, and pupil engagement

• Supporting pupils with additional needs on a 1:1 and small group basis

• Quickly adapting to different school environments across West Cornwall

We're looking for candidates who:

• Have experience supporting children or young people (schools, youth work, care, coaching, etc.)

• Are flexible, enthusiastic, and able to work at short notice

• Are confident in supporting pupils of different ages and abilities
