Primary Teaching Assistants Required for Daily Supply Opportunities

Tradewind Recruitment Hull has proudly supported local schools for over a decade, and due to continued high demand, we are looking for Primary Teaching Assistants to join us in providing cover in our partner schools in the East Riding.

We are seeking dedicated, skilled, and enthusiastic teaching assistants to support teaching and learning in primary schools across the East Riding. Ideally, candidates will be flexible and confident working across all year groups. Many of these positions may involve supporting pupils with SEND, so experience in this area would be highly beneficial. Some roles may also require assisting with the delivery of Phonics, so relevant training or experience is essential for those assignments. Opportunities range from daily and short-term supply to longer-term placements.

We collaborate with a large number of schools in the East Riding and the surrounding areas, and our network continues to grow each week. Whether you drive or rely on public transport, we have local placements to suit your needs.

Rates of pay start from £90 per day, depending on experience.

As a Supply Teaching Assistant you will:

  • Delivering sessions on a small group or 1:1 basis
  • Have a strong subject knowledge of National Curriculum/EYFS Framework
  • Support a range of learners needs including SEND
  • Be adaptable to support in different year groups and in varying roles

The essentials for this role and to ensure suitability are:

  • Hold a teaching assistant qualification or similar
  • Enhanced DBS disclosure. Overseas Police Check (if applicable) and professional references
  • CV must cover since Secondary education and account any gaps in employment
  • Legal right to work in the UK
